You're right! All races (don't remember how many) ,do 100 City events,36 combat tours, 190 tokens (75 comic cover tokens,15 landmarks (so easy to collect) ,100 secret tokens) to unlock Black suit So hard to ulock Black suit lol
O.k, all of the customes can be unlocked in the regular version, including the Black Spiderman suit (though you need to complete everything, including races and all that). And when he goes into that rampage, he's just playing on Venom mode, which you can switch to and from once you beat the game.
@TheMike884 : According to what I found on teh interwebz, you can get this costume (Arachnoman) by completing 90 city events, collecting 90 tokens and complete 20 combat tours.

that's not venom stupid! that's ARACHNOMAN aka the fake spider-man and to unlock it you dont just need to complete the game you need to get all the collectables.

When I discovered this game it took years before I got the chance to play it and when I did it became my favorite Spider-man game...ever

in the ultimate spiderman comics there was an issue where hollywood made a movie of him and used the costume and called it arachnoman

but the movie title is Arachnoman then the costume is Yellow and Green.

yeah theres a giant poster on 1 of the buildings that has a picture of that costume on it!

carnage was so HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the door opening the doors was so hard i broke carnages back
this guy probably beat the game, (I heard and saw, that when you complete the game you get to be venom, but he's not one of the costumes)

Play Web of Shadows on the PS3 or 360, it's the best Spidey game.

you have to pick up tokens,do crime alerts etc
this game is awsome but the thing thats sucks is that venoms health goes down so fast and for no reason

yeah but it would be cool if you could at least make some other bar that goes down very slowly and if it goes empty you should turn back to eddie

This isn't a secret costume. After you beat the game you can play as venom by going to the menu and going down to switch hero.

If you're going to get. Make shore to not buy it for PS2, it sucks but the PS3 version and the X-box 360 version rocks!!!
